Daiki Asuka

نظرة عامة

__Height:__ 159 cm A genius student who ranks at the top of his grade, he is in Class 2-A of the junior high division at St. Paulia Academy. He is also a classmate of Meimi Haneoka. His classmates call him by the nickname "Asuka Jr.," as he is the "son of Detective Asuka." He occasionally pursues and solves cases himself, reflecting his intention to follow in his father's footsteps. Although he consistently maintains the top academic rank in his grade, he possesses an easygoing nature that makes his brilliance entirely unpretentious. Because he is fundamentally earnest and hot-blooded, he is frequently teased by the other boys in his class. He also has a childish side: he dislikes milk. While highly intelligent, he is remarkably oblivious to the nuances of the human heart—especially regarding romantic feelings and the inner workings of a girl's mind. Furthermore, his knowledge regarding women and romance is highly skewed, sometimes manifesting as truly absurd, prejudiced notions. As a result, he is regarded by his classmates as an eccentric. Asuka Jr. maintains a firm, unpopular conviction that "wrong is wrong, regardless of the circumstances." Because of this, most girls simply scoff at him or treat him like a fool. Aspiring to become a detective—specifically a consultant for criminal investigations—he had already assisted the police in solving cases before his involvement with the phantom thief "Saint Tail." Initially, he pursued Saint Tail out of a sense of justice and personal interest; later, his enthusiasm and talent were recognized by the mayor of Seika City, who granted him the official authority of a "Special Investigator for the Saint Tail Case."
