Tristan Liones

Overview

__Height:__ 185cm A student at the British branch of Camelot Academy, he is the top-ranked player of his generation. He possesses a talent—or "Gift"—that allows him to visualize the flow of the wind. By combining this with a unique swing technique he devised himself, he can guarantee a chip-in from within 120 yards (technically, the success rate is said to be 96%, though he never misses a shot from that range in the story; the remaining 4% likely accounts for situations where a direct shot at the cup is impossible). He lived with just his father—who had passed away by the time the story takes place—in conditions of extreme poverty. At the golf club he attended back then, coaches frequently reprimanded him for his unconventional approach swing (though they praised his driving and putting skills). He also endured severe bullying from other trainees who mocked his impoverished lifestyle. Yet, fueled by his father's encouragement, he persevered in his training until his talent finally blossomed, eventually earning him a scouting offer from the prestigious Camelot Academy. Tragically, however, by the time he went to share the news of the offer, his father had already passed away from overwork. After losing his father—his only true ally—he shut himself off emotionally and became obsessed solely with reaching the pinnacle of the golf world to force others to acknowledge his game. ~!However, through his matches against Gawain and Lancelot during the Camelot Cup, he rediscovered the joy of competing against others—a feeling he had long forgotten.!~
